Tuesday, it’s not really as bad as Monday but it’s still not close enough to the weekend yeah?
I’ve had quite an enjoyable morning so far. Braved the roads to take the Boyf to work and then fought through the half asleep tribes of zombies to get home. Where I had found that the parking morons of Cape Town were at it again and I had nowhere to park. I love days like these.
At this point I took a long calming drive out to Hout Bay beach to drink some coffee and watch people walking their pupperoos along the sand. I know Clifton beach is closer but I needed the time it took to drive to Hout Bay to, you know, stop swearing about how inconsiderate people could be. I even took a lovely picture along the way but since I’m too lazy to install my phone’s drivers right now, I won’t be sharing that today.
And now here we are. Calm, collected and ready to begin the day. I won’t go as far as saying it’s a bright eyed and bushy tailed day, but definitely not a ‘I hope you all die in a fire…slowly’ day.
To make sure it stays that way I’m going to put my headphones on, blast some music and do some work.
It’s a techno day.
At some point I’ll probably end up busting out my pink fedora and pretending my lounge is a dancefloor. Without proof though, you’ll never know, and thankfully for me, can never prove it to anyone else.
