I’ve been having quite a giggle over the past couple of days with the way people have been up in arms over this Dalai Lama escapade.
Quite frankly, I don’t know what the problem is. So, he hasn’t got a visa? Don’t we have thousands of people here already who got in illegally? Just come on in short old dude.
Anyway, I don’t really agree with people going ballistic over it. I would rather side with China (a nation who has a population so large that they don’t even have to sink to the level of catapulting balls of flame at us – they can just throw people and we’ll drown in a sea of sweat and skin) than a funny little old man who was coming here for a World Peace thing…and let’s face it, we’re never gonna have world peace. Yes yes, call me negative, call me a cynic…whatever. I stand by it.
But, I don’t really care that much about it, you should know that by now because I haven’t used the word ‘fuck’ fifty times yet. You know I care when I swear. Oooh. It rhymes. The whole incident did make me think of an episode of Penn & Teller: Bullshit! I watched a while ago though…and I thought I would share. (I love this show, it’s funny as hell and it can open up some closed minds).
