It’s been a while since I’ve done a cyclist rant but it’s sad that I am able to find the opportunity to do them at all.
This evening on the drive home I had the choice of driving into a sidewalk and possibly fucking up my tyres and wheel alignment in someway, or getting a tad close to a cyclist. I of course chose the latter. This cyclist cunt, whoever he may be, then lifted his hand and pulled a sign…that didn’t look like the good old peace sign.
Dude…I don’t get it.
I was no where near hitting him and he’s the dickhead who decided it was a good idea to ride his fairy bike in his fairy spandex outfit on one of the narrowest roads in this dimension so why should I rather have chosen damage to my car (which would cost me money, not this cunt) over coming within twenty centimetres of his precious shaven arm?
You know, I don’t pretend to own the road…I give way to people when they have right of way, I use my indicator, I let those who are going faster pass me (which is something that most drivers in this fair city haven’t really grasped)…I do all these things and I’m actually in a car, the invention roads were tarred for. But then you get these cunts who are on a flimsy piece of metal with two wheels that go flat at the drop of a hat and they just do whatever the hell they want.
This leads me to one conclusion.
Taxi drivers and cyclists have the same genes.
This was just the cherry on the crap sundae of a day I have had.

It’s a pity you didn’t see the incident at the corner of Klipfontein & Milner where a taxi nearly took out a cyclist who’d crept halfway into the intersection. I thought I’d die laughing.
